Founded in 1990, Taeyang Corporation of Education established Kyung-in Women's University in 1991. Founder Baek, Chang-gi and the First President Kim, Gil-ja founded and operated the corporation and the university based on the spirit of justice, love, truth, and creativity, and contributed a lot to nurturing women in Korea, who had relatively few opportunities, into skilled professionals.

Over the years since the establishment, Kyung-in Women's University has flourished rapidly and now stands proudly as the leading women's university in the Gyeonggi and Incheon regions. Such remarkable achievements are the fruits of the continuous efforts of its members including faculty, staff, students, and alumni, as well as the support of local residents and citizens. To all of them, I extend my heartfelt gratitude and hope their efforts and support remains steadfast

Kyung-in Women's University has a vision to develop into a university that pioneers the future together with the local community, fostering global professionals who take on the challenge of future innovation with genuine knowledge and respect for humanity. Taeyang Corporation of Education will do its best to support the university in making the vision a vibrant reality.
